  • Shame Roger had to lose his voice. He's still the best. Keep on writing those articles!

  • I have watched all 3 parts of this interview, very interesting.

  • @Riddler,

He had thyroid cancer, which spread to his jaw eventually, causing him to have to remove his jaw. He can't speak or eat anymore but he is still very active and publishes great reviews, refusing to be brought down.

  • Great interview, thanks for uploading this

  • This was a refreshing, nicely done interview. I've worked in television myself and the stress is always on getting things out quickly, hurry up so we can move on to the next thing, gimme your soundbyte and get out. But something must be said for sitting down and calmly answering questions, thinking about your answer, and letting the words take you where they will. Nobody does that anymore, but you can only learn something or understand a person if you give them the time to show you The Truth.

  • I wouldn't be the film lover I am today if it wasn't for Roger. A wonderful writer and film-critic.

  • @Riddler95

He's still kicking around the web and such, witty and knowledgeable as ever.

  • Great to watch this. I like the calm tone of the interview.

  • I have such fond memories of Siskel and Ebert. I used to watch their reviews all the time when I was a chld/teenager. I loved their personalities, their arguments. It was great to watch two people who loved film and really enjoyed discussing it.

  • He's been battling thyroid cancer for the last few years

  • What happened to Roger Ebert ?
