Heres a short story of how I met my brotha from anotha motha and his wife..I have known Derrick for almost 10 years.I became friends with his sister Destiny a.k.a. "Devious" "My Fiance" in 2000 where we worked together at Macys. I quit Macys a couple years later and started working for Jean (Derricks mom which I worked for her for 7 years:) at her high end hair salon as shop boy turned "assistant." I met Derrick because I was always around and loved that guy from the start..lol..and he became friends with my brother and sister...They are my other family that I love a whole bunch. I met Mel for the first time I thought she was the cutest thing ever..especially when she made Derrick that robot cake for his Bday a couple years back..she is one of sweetest people evvaarrr:) this is a video I made of their wedding that was held at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, CA. I would like to thank them for allowing me to videograph their wedding. I shot a couple hours of clips, however, used only about 1/4 of total clips because the song was short. The song I believe makes the video all that much better. It took me about a month to decide on what song would be perfect for this video and this couple. As soon as I got the OK to videograph the wedding I was thinking of two songs, however, Hellogoodbye's "When we first met" was the perfect fit, perfect beat, great lyrics for the couple and makes the video that much cuter. Also, having Derrick talk about how he propsed to Mel as the intro is a very great touch to the video. It was one of the funnest weddings I have ever been to..lol..well have not been to many but it is gonna take alot for a wedding to top this one. I love you guys:) It was a really fun time with my bro,sis,Herc and being able to see ones I hella love at the wedding...
