There is a contrast between dark humor and being a blind, pigheaded and insensitive person to things that happen to people. Real people, that you and I know. That other's no and love.

Rape is something that ruins people's lives, and can be hard to move past because there is nothing funny about someone being forced in to having sexual relations with someone they don't want to.

It happens, it's traumatic. If it happened to a family member of your's would you laugh at them or tell them it's funny?
