  • A hello from Austria. Thanks for this video - I really enjoy it. Even my english is little I DO understand what its about. Great ! (and beside - not only bullydependo has blisters on his fingers :-)) Please keep on going!

  • Ihr Englisch ist besser als mein Deutsch. Vielen Dank, und auf Wiedersehen.

  • I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS!! (seriously) Thanks so much, I've been practicing this tune most of the day. The banjo has frustrated me for some time, but I've had a blast playing along with these videos!

  • I'll bet you have it in a few weeks.

  • Thanks Rob. You have helped this beginner learn his first tune. You have got to be the best teacher on YouTube. Thanks bunches.

  • Is it easy to fit the lyrics in with the tune? There are a few versions of CC on YouTube, some seem to have a different rhythm and I can't seem to figure out how it all fits together. Is it just me? Thanks. Really appreciate you taking the time to do this Rob.

  • Hi Rob. I'm just about keeping up with this part after playing for a week. Middle finger has a blister on it, but I try to play through the pain—it's the most painful when I pick up the banjo after a few hours, but numbs down after a few minutes. I can't wait until a month or two have gone by and I can get up to proper tempo. Is it best to stick just with Cripple Creek for now, or can I start to learn another tune, while I get up to speed. Or do you recommend one tune at a time? Andrew.

  • Ok ive been following along fairly well so far, I have a problem with my fingers hiting the other strings. I would like to thank you for putting these videos up here and I will continue to move on once I can keep up without mixing the "parts" up.
