Building A Program Launcher And Service Stopper In VBScript (VBS) allows you to stop services that you aren't going to use while playing a game, or editing video, or whatever tasks you want to do that use a lot of CPU and Memory.

Paste it in to a file named GiveMeYourFullAttention.vbs and double click it to run it.

To Restart the services change "Stop" to "Start"

@HadimusRex notepad++ and I don't normally run in blackboard mode, but this was better for video.

@yumpaa You can use any text editor you like. I just use Notepad++ because it highlights the code well, with different colors based on what I am doing.

In a future video, do you think you could cover monitoring a directory for file changes? I can see so many uses for this (like a backup script that will send new files to a server, a script that could send you an email/text when a download is finished, or a script that could sort files into different folders based on their file type).
