RENFE freight train at Portbou

Double-headed intermodal train passing northwards through Portbou station on the Spanish-French border. The train will run through the tunnel under the border into the yard at Cerbere, the station on the French side of the border. Because Spanish railways have a different track gauge to most of the rest of Europe, at Cerbere either the swapbodies will be transferred to standard-gauge wagons or the wheelsets will be exchanged for standard-gauge ones.
