This is an amazing Hike...and the views everywhere on this hike...breathtaking...this trail is all up hill so take your time and you will be fine...Whats at the END of this trail will BLOW YOU AWAY!!!

@Tinyterry121 No...I wouldn't make this a hike for first timers....Let me give you 3 others...if you can do these 3 You will be ready for Mariners Ridge. 1.) Diamond Head 2.) Manoa Falls 3.) Makapu'u Lighthouse trail. If none of these 3 trails are hard for you I would then do a hike like Mariners Ridge. I know I have it marked as (Easy/Moderate) for me it would be EASY for first timers it would be MODERATE. Thank you for asking, be safe, Aloha

mariners ridge is the easiest ridge hike on oahu. hike kona hua nui, if mariners ridge views blow you away, kona hua nui will make your eyes pop out of their sockets.
