Tina Agerson will serve 275 consecutive days after her dog ripped the scalp from Charlotte Blevins a little girl who was 1-year-old at the time of her attack.
Agerson learned her fate in court and will begin serving her sentence on January 5th, 2009.
Agerson pleaded no contest to charges of harboring a dangerous animal and possessing a menacing animal.
Her pit bull broke free in June, and attacked two adults and two children.
The worst injured, -a 1-year-old girl, Charlotte Blevins, who had part of her scalp torn off.
Police say Agerson's dog slipped his leash in June and attacked two toddlers and the mother of one of the children. One child, Charlotte Blevins, lost part of her scalp during the attack.
The girl has had several reconstructive surgeries since then, and her mother has said the girl is facing more than $100,000 in medical bills.
