If i put a Heat mat inside the viv, wont it burn the snake?

@PurpleDesigns we only use mats for light body snakes like corns, kings, milks etc. and they are on a thermostat so the temperature is regulated.

Where about would you put a heat mat on this type. The heat mats say glass vivarium only.
