More troops go to Iraq - 15 Sep 07

While all the talk in the US is about withdrawing troops from Iraq, the reality is that many soldiers are actually preparing to travel there. Another brigade is about to be sent to Iraq from Ft Stewart in Georgia. Josh Rushing reports.

To the world - Actually we had a 5,000 plus people march on capatial hill on the day this came out. With 200 plus civilian arrests. (Pt 3)That is why this has lasted near 5 years in Iraq. A lot of money was made by the Military Industrial Complex at the expense of Iraqi and American blood. The American government is capable of being far more dangerous to Americans than any amount of terror. And Americans at large care about when the next IT thing comes onto the market so they can be quick to queue first.

(Pt 2)A War was started under false pretenses and sold hook, line and sinker to America at Large. The information was carefully controlled and distorted so as to further sell the scam, meanwhile Iraq quickly became a near media vacuum with reports quickly forgotten by our broadcasters. Other news outlets, such as yours Al Jazeera, were slandered and an illusion of enmity was placed upon them.

There has been a concerted effort to squelch the war through the Media. We, in America, have one of the most technologically advanced Medias in the history of mankind. Yet our media has told us so little about the war. Some networks are more open about what information they communicate but it is tantamount to rationing regardless of channel. In the end I can only congratulate the people who pulled this off. I think it only fair to recognize the achievements of villains as we do with heroes.

During I think it was the 2004 Republican national convention a half million people demonstrated and there was about 10 seconds of a paper dragon burning on the news. The independent media is critical for us these days.
