That is a normal sound for a rc boat to make my aquacraft ep1 sounds a bit like that it's perfectly normal

im buying an rc engine off ebay and im new to water cooled engines how do i pump water through the ports on the cylinder and exhaust is there a water pump i need?

I am building a rc boat and I need tips advice anything. I am building one with no plans or anything and I have never built one. And not to mention I am using most of the wood from my rc plane. I need advice on how to build one to go fast and sturdy. Please respond asap.

I think you have turned a corner with this project. I cannot wait to see the sea trial footage! Don't sweat the sound, racer's will tell ya, loose it fast! : )

Just ran it wet, not the result I expected. It must be hull design. It draws about 3 inches along it's length. I should of given it less draft, or more beam for displacement. Building a new one now 18". Sadly, it looks like another patrol boat, I don't know why I do it (no imagination probably)!!! It's lighter though and wider.

I've mounted the motor lower to reduce the torque roll and geared it 2:1 reduction. I'm after a 3:1 gear set, but can't find any in the UK. I'm going to run this and see how it goes. Then I'm going to try the slower motor with the same gear set to get the scale / performance right.
