@enterprise160 Yeah. I actually think that if the EDF got together with the Federation to take out the Borg, and the EDF brought the Yamato and some Andromedas, the Borg would quickly be ancient history.
There were a whole bunch of these videos posted a few years back by a guy named Hegemony. I think they were from a PS2 game, but I'm not sure. But he suddenly pulled them all down, so I don't know if he got into a little bit of trouble for them or what.
The Comet Empire clips were particularly awesome and I wish I had downloaded them when I had the chance.
@silverstinger No, I don't. That doesn't mean that they don't exist, just that I don't know them. I avoid Windows like the crotch fungus, generally. I do know there were relatively recent Yamato games for Playstation. And I still have a Turbographix machine in my closet because of the Yamato game it had years ago...
@silverstinger Actually the first scene of the Yamato coming through the rocky tunnel gave it away: this is footage from one of the Yamato laserdisc games that Tim Eldred showed at his Yamato panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta last week. I think in that tunnel if you hit the wrong button or whatever there is a stalactite hanging from the ceiling which you crash the bridge into. Considering this is a complete victory sequence, my guess is that this is either the game teaser or a post-victory recap.

I always loved the Andromeda's double barrel wave motion gun.
