BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - It will sit as a silent guardian against crime in and around St. Clair County, only the second unit of its kind in Illinois.

On Tuesday morning sheriff's officials literally pulled the wraps off "The Exterminator", a donated armored truck that's been repainted and fitted with foam-filled tires that can't be flattened, a padlocked hood, a locked gas cap, protective screens over the headlights and other add-ons to discourage vandalism.

  • Oh how nice of the military to donate armored vehicles and other weapons of war to local police departments.

  • why dont they just buy tanks and shoot everyone moving

  • just needs a couple of swastikas ....

  • …And why do they call it the exterminator??? Because there are so many cockroaches inside???

  • That Americain taxpayers are prepared to finace this kind of bullshit!!!

  • This is quite possibly one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

  • WTF is a silent guardian against crime? This thing will just sit somewhere to deter crime?

Buy a yard sign, you freaks of nature, they burn less gas.

  • @Georgerocker "Have you wonder why you need vehicles like that? Have you asked yourself, why are they required?"

    1. To enforce the NWO future vision of total control.

    2. To amplify the Climate of Fear by exaggeration, using battlefield-type armoured vehicles in the streets where ordinary policing worked fine for over a century.

    3. To serve as a platform for snooping and data/info harvesting of innocent members of the public.

    4. To generate revenue opportunities for Halliburton & others.

  • FAAAAA - Q, thugs. You think it's funny? Have you wonder why you need vehicles like that? Have you asked yourself, why are they required? Or have you taken the time to wonder who has created the problem which you might find yourself dealing with unsuccessfully? make a choice, moron, you're either on the right side of history, or you fools will find yourselves on the other side of the spear.
