Nice video's, thanks for posting these up mate!. I thought I'd mention I make my own version of Stwe mac's file levelers, by cutting my files tang off wth a zip cut (thin grinder dscs) dsc on my angle grinder, and for some I also cut ther taper off to have a nice square file. Just remember to cut slow keeping the fle cool dipping in watter VERY often. Never let the file get hot then dip as it will change the temper of the high carbon steel file and the teeth won't last long. Cheers, IC.
i'm sure it's a matter of opinion, but it's been my experience that if the fret is hammered in at both ends first..then the middle.....this forces the little arrows on the tang outwards and gives the fret more grip. just a thought!
