the more long distance bits of our walk at the weekend over the downs. :-))) my friend grazes goats here as part of the management plan. my other friend grazes cattle and sheep. they are clearing the woodland to open it up for bees and butterflies. it gets coppiced first and then the animals move in to eat what's left, then the pioneer plants move back and feed rare species of bumble bee and butterfly. :-))) all part of the community farm.
