@thacrack3r the supercharger has its limits and its belt drive putting more strain on the motor turbo is the only way to go on a z

I have Nismo with Berk HFC, and there is a little bit of rasp actually. It was hardly noticeable though. The Berks have that reinforced bracket, so they should be fine. I did have a Stillen Y-pipe though instead of the Nismo one.
Btw, I'm JonnyC on my350z. I recognize your name from there.

plus i don't want them to crack with the nismo

why you took it of ? you want more power or didn't you like the vortech? Curious cause i am planning a vortech on my Z with nismo exhaust.

Personal preference I guess. I got a good deal on a turbo and wanted a little bit more torque for getting around town.

did you have the tuner kit or the full kit?

I had the tuner kit with UTEC, Walbro, and 650cc injectors

More torque than a supercharger.....? Now I'm extremely interested sir. The supercharger should give you more torque of the line. It's always applying its power. The turbo has to spool up from to engine exhaust.....soooo.....no boost in low rpm, no early torque. What turbo did you use that boosted the torque higher than the supercharger? I'm really not trying to be an ass. I'm researching 350zs at the moment so I'm really just trying to learn.

There is a major difference between a centrifugal blower (the Vortech) and a positive displacement blower (Stillen). Just look at a dyno comparison between the two (specifically the torque curve). I would suggest that you actually research and KNOW something before you try to prove other people wrong.
