Why Rome is Babylon the Great?

Both the Old and New Testaments point Babylon the Great to be Rome. The apostle Peter apparently used Babylon as a code word for Rome while in prison in Rome, where he was facing imminent death. Shortly after writing 2 Peter, he was martyred.

"The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you..." (1 Peter 5:13)

First, the fall of Babylon is caused by:
* Her Pride
* God's vengeance for the Temple
* God's vengeance for Israel and Jerusalem
* Her shedding the blood of the saints
* Her carved images of blasphemy names
* Her fornication with many gods
* Her abominations of worshiping carved images

Second, Rome committed all the sins of Babylon:
* Tried to mount up to heaven
* Plundered God's Temple
* Burned God's Temple
* Committed massive murder against Israel
* Dispersed the Jews from their homeland
* Shed the blood of the saints
* Filled their land with carved images
* Worshiped carved images

Third, in all their sins, Rome greatly outdid Babylon:

1. Rome renamed Jerusalem "Aelia Capitolina" in 135 AD to make it a Roman city.
2. Rome renamed the land of Israel "Palestine" in 135 AD to blot out its Biblical name.
3. Rome sold Jews into slavery throughout the Roman Empire.
4. Rome scattered the Jews throughout the world.
5. Rome further alienated and marginalized Jews by harsh imperial Roman Catholic law in the land of Israel.
6. Rome favoured the settlement of largely Roman Christians, of culturally pagan Greco-Roman or Aramaic provenance, in the land of Israel.
7. A Roman policy, pagan, then Catholic Christian, was in place to ensure that no Jewish temple, Jerusalem or state ever rose again.
8. For 70 years Babylon oppressed and exiled the Jews; Rome persecuted and dispersed the Jews from their homeland for 700 years.
Rome is not merely Babylon, but Babylon the Great; Rome is not merely a harlot, but the Mother of Harlots.

The Importance of God's Temple (1 Kings 9:3-4),

And the LORD said to him[Solomon], "... I have consecrated this house that you have built, by putting my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time."


Cyrus, king of Persia, 559--530 BC, an unbeliever, was raised by God to freed from the Babylonian Captivity to rebuild the Temple and Jerusalem. (Isaiah 45:1-7)

Because this, this unbeliever was called God's anointed, the word used for the Messiah (Isaiah 45:1); he was called God's shepherd to lead Israel in rebuilding Jerusalem and the Temple (Isaiah 44:28)

God's Prophecies on the Temple and Israle: (1 Kings 9:4-9)

"And as for you[Solomon], if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, with integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that I have commanded you, and keeping my statutes and my rules, then I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, 'You shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.' But if you turn aside from following me, you or your children, and do not keep my commandments and my statutes that I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, and the house that I have consecrated for my name I will cast out of my sight, and Israel will become a proverb and a byword among all peoples. there are so many fallacies in this video that you must have a low IQ to even believe in it. Here is one: Post hoc ergo propter hoc. In fact it is of relation to the free masons, of which FDR the reformer of all the current currency in the US belonged to. Furthermore, the US is mainly protestant along with its founding fathers, they would never use catholic references.
