Roger Ebert and his temporary guest at the time Michaela Pereira review the year 2000 film American Psycho. Michaela didn't like the film while Ebert did which I agree with him more.

  • To all idiots making misogynistic comments: A WOMAN directed this movie. And she wrote the screenplay with another WOMAN. Learn to not be a dick or go back to the 14th Century.

Actually, Ebert has had a very successful career as a critic. Heck, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls has a cult following around it, which is the ultimate honor for any film. In fact, you'd be really hard pressed to not find a DVD in your collection that had Siskel and Eberts "Two Thumbs Up" as a quote. The high point of Ryan Dunns career was shoving a car into his asshole.

  • Jesus Christ people just chill out ! She did give arguments to justify her statements : primarily, the lack of any real coherent explanation for Patrick's actions. Besides, the film may not be directly slasher, but it still shares major elements of gore slasher movies.

Anyway, all of this is subjective, and you're never totally impartial when judging something. You guys are the proof of that : you accuse her of not providing arguments, while bashing her for hating on one of your favorite movies.

  • @VirtualBoy500 Okay.

  • @ShadowCrashed81 err.....o-kay, what does that have to do with any...you know what? Screw it. You're clearly living in some weird parallel universe where being sexist is attractive. I don't care anymore. I'm leaving this video. Bye.

  • @VirtualBoy500 You are so naive.

  • @ShadowCrashed81 Incorrect. I am not a virgin due to my chivalry and fair treatment of women.

I am a virgin because I have nothing better to do than respond to idiots on YouTube. ;)

  • @KiloByte72 His argument just pretty much stated a woman did everything for the movie and I was clearly stating he was a virgin white knight who is trying too hard to impress females.

  • @ShadowCrashed81

He posted a perfectly valid argument and you retorted by calling him "virgin", a high school level insult. That's all the information I needed to draw such a conclusion.

  • @KiloByte72 Why?

  • @ShadowCrashed81

I'd say it's safe to assume that he is.

  • @KiloByte72 But he isn't.
