telephone scene @ 0:20 or so, was hilarious. and by that i mean, "no way" the dialog would be depicted in todays society, ripping along that fast. Cary hardly waited for any 'realistic' response time from guy on the other end of the phone. of course, this dove tails nicely into how "old movies" like this were done anyway. Rapid Fire Dialog. what was it about society "then" ....or perhaps just the Perception of 'how people talked"...that was Soooo much brisker than what you'd hear today?

i love this scene cause when my English Teach introduced us to this story he renacted this scene it was scene for scene
The two old ducks are fantastic in this movie. So prim and proper.
All the cast are on top of their game, even if Cary Grant didn't like his acting in this movie, I think he's a scream.
