Astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lisle presents a presuppositional approach to apologetics and shows why it is the best method for defending the faith. Giving numerous examples of real-world discussions, Dr. Lisle demonstrates how to expose the inconsistencies and arbitrariness in secular worldviews, while also demonstrating the logic and consistency of the biblical worldview.

  • Look...proving that God created the Earth leaves out the possibility for belief...thats why they call it a belief right? to actually have the opportunity to believe. And if this guy is really a Christian and reading his Bible, then he should know that Jesus didnt "win" people over with arguments...he led by example and LOVED people....thats all. Just love...

  • @KarlieJF Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was being provoked within him as he was observing the city full of idols. So he was reasoning in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, and in the market place every day with those who happened to be present. – Acts 17:16-17

And he was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath and trying to persuade Jews and Greeks. – Acts 18:14

  • @KarlieJF And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God. – Acts 19:8

  • @KarlieJF You can have gr8 evidence, but not proof. Faith in Jesus Christ is not a blind faith (otherwise you might as well believe just about anything). But it is a reasonable faith, & has evidence for it. But no matter how much evidence their is, people will still choose to deny God because they love their sin (John 3:18). Many, many times God did miracles in the Bible and many of the people still did not believe. Even the demons believe Jesus rose from the dead, but u must b committed 2 Jesus

  • @7BroncoBoy Yes, the bible claims miracles happened. Many books do. Faith doesn;t seem reasonable at all. If you had the same evidence for another faith; you wouldn;t accept it.

  • @truevoiceofsanity And your proof that miracles never happen is....? And your proof that there is no supernatural creator who could perform miracles is...blind faith?

  • @KarlieJF the bible does not teach anywhere that we just blindly "believe" that God exists. God's existence is a given, and we BELIEVE/TRUST IN HIM because he's God. Romans 1 says that anyone who denies the plain truth of the existence of God is simply supressing the truth.

  • @KarlieJF Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect – 1 Pet 3:15

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. – Heb 11:1
