I think you will find if you google woolworths you will be able to buy from them

You are not actually correct, it had many offers to buy it but the main stock/share holders wanted to make more money by liquidating the assets. Sad day all around.

WOOLWORTHS IS NOT GONE!!!
It will re-open in the Summer in Liverpool.
Only 1 store at the moment but it will grow back into the shoes it left behind.

uhhh not because of the credit crunch, they started going down steadily years ago from buying too much stock and not selling enough of it ending up in £300,000,000 debt. too bad they went totaly bankrupt a year before 100th aniversary though.
