This is part one of an amateur production aimed at portray -ing sloppy "strip mine" type logging methods on Vancouver Island ( in this case in the Cowichan Valley). My purpose is to be neither political nor anti-logging in general...although I may have slipped a bit in the political department. Rather, I just want to inform any one who might listen in the hope that this industry might be brought back under the control of the people of B.C. and the forests be managed for the use and enjoyment of all for generations to come.
