Yesterday Heaven gained a good Phillie and that good Phillie being Harry Kalas is now reunited with that good Red Joe Nuxhall. Joe rounded third and headed to heaven and Harry called his last home run "outta here" and ascended up to Heaven. Rest in peace to two good men. You'll never be forgotten and will live on in our hearts forever. We love you guys.

Wow! I was looking for a video on Joe Oliver and Found out Joe is dead! I live in Texas and never knew. I grew up in the
70's 80's listning to 162 games a year with Marty & Joe. I remeber when he threw batting practice to the reds before each game.

Joe Nuxhall was a legend I loved the stories and just listening to the man during the game, baseball put him in the hall. Name another guy other then Don Zimmer and Yogi who's was connected with baseball longer then Nuxhall God bless the Old lefthander. He's rounded third and arrived home in heaven.

Wow! This is a fantastic tribute! I too cherish the memories of when I was just a little kid, hearing Joe on the radio. It was almost like a comfort, hearing him call the Reds games. RIP Joe. Heaven has indeed gained a Good Red.
