I realize this movie about truth in human beings.. but why should each guy she dates turns out to be some form of a LOSER?? You would think after several experiences she would learn.. I guess "HOPE" is Eternal and you realize that at the end of this movie. If I would have been her I given these ASSHOLE the shaft!

If there is one movie that tells more about the human condition, I'd love to hear it.
I gladly forgive Italy even Berlusconi for also having brought forth Frederico Fellini, Giulietta Masina and Nino Rota. Amo l'Italia a causa di questa.

oh god, her face when she turns around and starts to realize...I've watched nights of cabiria at least 20 times over the last few years, and it hits me just as hard every single time i see it

This movie saved my life ... and my vision of life ... in 1992. I will owe Giuletta Masina and Federico Fellini for my entire existence on this crazy planet. Gladly and happily I will owe them. She is beautiful. Life is worth living. Federico knew that.

Sadly this great film is rarely on the lists of Best Films Ever Made. It should be because it is exactly that. It's just as fresh in 2009 as when made.

A thousand years from now, if the world still exists, cinema lovers will still feel the same great emotions that we experienced when we first saw "Nights of Cabiria" in the 1950s. This movie is eternal because it deals honestly and beautifully with the human condition.
