  • What a Lady...smart, funny, talented and cute as a button.

  • i love ruth gordon!!!

  • she was seated right next to Streisand!

  • I absolutely love her first quip and the way she picks up the Oscar with a smile and swings around. I agree with all.. Definitely one of the best Oscar acceptance speeches ever. A funny brief acceptance from a truly funny classy actress. Well deserved..

  • Short and sweet, just like her acceptance speech."Rosemary's Baby" was an incredible film, tho' I didn't get to see it on it's release as I was only 9 at the time.I was around 13,(around the time "The Exorcist" was released),by the time I got to see it,and whilst I think The Exorcist is still the scariest film about demonic possession Rosemary's Baby was up there alongside it,for different reasons.Ruth Gordon was excellent.

  • She was FAB in it...

  • I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Rosemary's Baby is one of my all time top 10 films. Ruth Gordon added to a great movie. But again, we all agree to disagree!

  • We will all agree to disagree, however I think Ruth Gordon's win was one of the most deserved supporting actress awards. She was absolutely phenomenal as the nosey, elderly, devil worshipping neighbor in history! LOVE her performance and yes I do agree it was a strong year in that category. As a sidenote, I do think that Mia Farrow's snub is still one of Oscar's biggest flubs.

  • Yikes, I was only making a suggestion to watch a film and politely giving my personal opinion on who should've won that year. Sounds like you need to calm down.

  • Keep believing that over 40 years later. Idiot.
