too damn fast! I prefer to play this song slowly :) I'm sorry Mr. Kempf but this is just too fast to enjoy. Although I love his 1st movement interpretation...

Every people have different dynamic when playing piano. Depends on how they feel the song. Sir Kempf think this song is kinda sorrowful, but played with strong expression.

This is an Allegro movement not Allegro vivace . Alla breve perteins to the space between stresspoints . The melodic song -dance caracter of this music as contrasted to the phrenetic caracter of the presto of the first movement , is totaly lost . mr Kempf has elecrical fingers but has no clue about the marking dolce. mr Kempf should do himself a favour and listen to grat and notso great string quartets . Right now he sounds as captivating as an electronic kitchen appliance.

@cogirlke i Partially agree - it really is extremely different to other interpretations. But i think it is extremely interesting. I like it :-)

I agree wholeheartedly with RayGlen 9. Kempf's performance seems very rushed to me (and the "dolce" section is anything but!). For me, Barenboim is perfection. :-)
