Beautiful adapted version, original as is the artist....Great effort and style ! :)

He is using a FISHMAN guitar amp system including 2 inputs, one PU under saddle and a small microphone inside the guitar at the soundhole position, both are blend in the Prefix medium blend system. I'm not using this system, but Jacques Stotzem made a presentation of this system to me.

Its just his style of play. You either love it or hate it i guess, but i totally feel you with the "rawness". What do you mean by hybrids? The way he lets his finger do the singing?

He can really play ..but the intro sucks ..too twee .. more grit Jacques. Neil's 'rawness' makes this a classic .. i hate these hybrids.

I know/saw that he uses 2 amplifiers, but don't know which brand.
