on 2006 we have in switzeland (valese you know?) 169 cm snow and in lugano TI 45 cm. zurigo 60 cm .... in oberwald has it 230 cm. and in Mallorca 20 cm. yes in mallorca its snow every year Usually juni 2008 Gardaland !!! ciao bella italia =))) Riva del Garda, Arco, TOrbole, Molina di Ledro, Castelnuovo, MAllecesines, Limone, Salo, LAzise, Garda, Maderno, Garganiano, Brenzone, Bardolino, Pesciera, Desenno ... =)))

because you have the atlantic ocean that is warm,north of italy is surrounded by alps and cold air can stay on the plain for a longer time
