The Paracordist's Tactical Retention Lanyard II

So this is an advancement to my original paracord creation the "PSK Lanyard" (see my other video). Based on great input from others, I've removed the knot at the bottom that forms a loop and replaced it with two decorative stoppers. This allows one to draw up the paracord bead when hiking, resulting in two single strands and NO LOOP to catch or snag in the bush. When the paracord bead is slid down, a loop of adjustable size accommodates thumb-thong style grip, or just a simple wrist leash for retention (for use on a boat for example).

Question: How much cord should I use when making a neck/badge lanyard using this knotting?

@Elienguitar I use double the amount of cord that I want the finished length to be when doing a two strand round braid (each of the 4 cords should be double the desired finished length). you can fine tune your start length after your first project

Hi Kevin,

I really like the new Gen II Tactical Retention Lanyard. It's a nice modification/upgrade to the original PSK Lanyard. Any chance you can do a re-make of how to make the adjustable ranger bead with a lighter color paracord used? The lighting on the other vid made it hard to see the black paracord. Thanks in advance!
