  • Just had a Total laryngectomy. Have been very positive. However radiotherapy was not so pleasant. I since had to have stoma enlarged which is very painful for stoma. I am very depressed and it is not the cancer issue, I cant place it. I am still unable to eat or drink after 4 months due to the severity of radiation. Inspired by you as many are by me. But lately feel very helpless and anxious. Have you any advise for me. I just thank God everyday for the second chance. I have provox prothesssis

  • Mike I came across your YouTube video And what a answered prayer I have liver cancer that is Inoperable Can't cut it out and no transplant just treatment to keep tumor down and Prayer 4 months later it got in my lymp noms My neck on right side is hard and painful at Times and inside of throat at base of tongue Is other mass I live in nj and drive to NYC one hour drive There and back I love you brother and your face is always In my prayers keep running the race which Is your heavenly calling
  • regular he is talking with a whole in his throat my uncle is the same my uncle used the same artificial larnyx he talks through a TEP provox he is producing air through esophogus my uncle pushes on his little button to talk

  • I don't know if Mike knows this. But, there is a laryngectomee. whom is a SCUBA diver

  • Almost forgot! Mike has probably already heard this, but there are classes that teach people how to swim again after a laryngectomy. There are some videos here on YouTube showing it. =)

  • I would love to see a motivational/inspirational website for Mike. I am in school right now studying to become a Rehabilitation Counselor. I am inspired and very grateful to Mike for sharing his story and I learned so much from these two videos to help me with a Case Study and disability paper.
