Just had a Total laryngectomy. Have been very positive. However radiotherapy was not so pleasant. I since had to have stoma enlarged which is very painful for stoma. I am very depressed and it is not the cancer issue, I cant place it. I am still unable to eat or drink after 4 months due to the severity of radiation. Inspired by you as many are by me. But lately feel very helpless and anxious. Have you any advise for me. I just thank God everyday for the second chance. I have provox prothesssis

Almost forgot! Mike has probably already heard this, but there are classes that teach people how to swim again after a laryngectomy. There are some videos here on YouTube showing it. =)

I would love to see a motivational/inspirational website for Mike. I am in school right now studying to become a Rehabilitation Counselor. I am inspired and very grateful to Mike for sharing his story and I learned so much from these two videos to help me with a Case Study and disability paper. As a Christian I am humbled by your willingness to share! God Bless!
