it's so sad. I am 12 and when i am older i really want 2 help these wonderful creatures. i no ur probablly thinking i am just talkig fantasy, but i really want to work wiv them..be one of those carers holding those wonderful babies and release them into the wild! thank u for posting this!

i dont know how anyone could hurt these wonderful creatures... there habitat is diminihing every day and we need to do something to help stop it from happening... thank you for posting this it was really moving and i hope the oranutang will still be in the wild when i have kids. i love animals and i would do anything to protect them

there are websites that will give you alot of info everyone about how you can help out and they also have gifts you can buy too,helping these guys out its an everyday thing not just a one of,one website is selling hairclips so if you know any hairdressing salons that would like to buy hairclips then that would be great,also holding a stall for them too and selling their products:)

i understand what you can do to teach apes how to read, to use sign language, and to use tools, orangutans are extreamly smart apes, smarter that alot of humans, if i ever get an orangutan, i wouldnt treat it as a pet, but an extention to the family, i would rase it, teach it, and i know youll think im just a dumb kid when i say this, but i would also teach it to use a naginata, thenmove over there, and anyone who would destroy the homes of the orangutan, they'll go home in a body bag

USA allowed British Petroleum to not only destroy the Gulf of Mexico, but exponentially worsen it buy spraying chemical dispersant to hide - sink the oil to the bottom. Now the Gulf is destroyed for the next 100 to possibly 1000 years! We polluted the oceans with a sea of plastic the size of Texas. We destroyed the world's oceans, destroyed the world's forests, and brought every animal species to the brink of extinction! Corporate Capitalism at its WORST! Tiempo para Revolucion!

While humans increase in numbers other species will fall. Our overpopulation and our greed are the cause of the loss of many thousands of species. This will not end until our population drops to a sustainable level as fewer people would mean fewer mouths to feed and fewer homes to build and fewer bodies travelling around the planet.

In other words to make sure the Orangutan babies survive do not have human babies of your own

i totally agree, i am also 12 and it's soo sad to see this, i am not eating or purchasing anything with palm oil in it. i have also adopted a orangutan named pinky.

i will be soooo happy if we can make a change and save these wonderful cratures which are our closest relatives :(
