@rizepor Even if they need leaders, examples, etc. why should they choose one from more than one thousand years ago? Someone that I doubt was the best of even his time. I think these ideas only can grow in close societies where the majority are uneducated. I am sorry for our people. We need a rebirth. Even before the revolution we where under-developed, and after the revolution they brought us back to the stone-ages.

What makes you think that a Russian knows more about Iranian culture who never lived in Iran and ran biographical reports and papers?? Do more research before posting misguided information.

ya hagh
One must know that Sufism is much older than Islam , Sufism roots are in Mazdeism.
"The belief in Reincarnation puts the Ahl-e Haqq beyond the bounds of Islam. The Ahl-e Haqq do not observe Muslim rites and rituals."

@rizepor It is true that these people are confused. Even if Ali or anybody else was all these good things that they say, he was a human being. If someone is a good person, praising that person will not be of any good for us. If you are really believers of GOD, how can you praise a human just like a GOD? If you are real believers, according to your own faith and doctrines of your religion, you should only praise the GOD.
Music is nice but words don't make sense!
I am also kurd-persian.

@marioepsilon : I agree with the general meaning of your post.
In any culture, anytime, people always needed leaders, examples, symbols, so they can be able to think beyond and further, and sometimes they can achieve this and then, the music itself, without words, becomes a true praise to God.
Today, most of tne "mystic" or sufi musicians are in fact, in their life, ordinary human beings, ordinary money lovers or fame and celebrity searchers.

I have looked online for information regarding both Ahle Hagh and Seyyed Khalil Ali Nejad's life, thoughts, etc., yet I have not been able to find anything in-depth. Can any of you recommend an English language website, book, etc.?
