No my SC300 doesn't have a speed cut as far as I know... I haven't pushed my 95 SC300 to its top speed but I have ran my 93 SC300 at rev limiter (6500rpms) in 5th gear many times at 155-157mph.
It is a heavy car @ 3600lbs... the weight is always an issue when it comes to performance driving w/ a vehicle. The SC300 does feel like a pig in stock form, suspension mods can make it feel like its lighter by getting rid of a majority of the body roll but if you want to make the car light there are alot of carbon fiber parts such as doors which are like million pounds on the SC lol. I have owned 14 ae86's and 2 SC300's and I prefer drifting the SC300's by far...
did ur ecu cut in? cuz i went to 145 for my 1996 sc300 and then it cut in on me.

Is weight a real problem with this car when it comes to drifting? I'm a Toyo fan and been looking into these
