This and The Band Played Waltzing Matilda are just about the best anti-war songs ever written. Recorded at Wimberley in October 2010. Fletcher Clark was on sound, it was superb and made a huge difference to the performances, thanks Fletcher

  • Great performance Chris!

  • this song brings back so many memories to me. Used to know it as The Green Fields of France . So many friends in folk groups sang it . The futility of war!

  • really heartfelt performance, very powerful.
