Barack Obama's 'ole pal. He's quite a character, Rezko is. He's been involved with money "laundering", taking away money from the folks and using it for illegal purposes. Barack Obama says he never knew Rezko did that. Yeah, like Obama wants us to think he's really that dumb. No, Obama was too smart, and he knew Rezko could buy him a big mansion and make him happy and properous and even help him to the White House. Rezko had a big banquet for Obama when he said he was running for the US senate. Barack Obama has received money donations from Tony Rezko on numerous occasions, up to $250,000. Tony Rezko helped Obama buy his mansion cheap, which shows Rezko can be generous to his friends.

So, Tony Rezko is sort of a Godfather to Obama in a way.
