Albinas Prizgintas plays pipe organ during the walking of the labyrinth at Trinity church in New Orleans. To inquire about the music e-mail Albinas at aprizgintas@trinitynola.com
This is truly magnificent. It has renewed my long lost interest in organ music. Can't wait to hear more organ music from this fine artist. Bravissimo!
I have size 13 feet and organ shoes just don't do it for me. I wear socks because they slide easily over the pedals. Besides, my feet are flat and somewhat ugly.
My job was to do the audio recording. It is always a delight to work with Albinas who is a great artist. The organ (5000 pipe tracker)was built about 12-15 years ago by a Texas organ builder, which produces a rich sound. Albinas plays Bach's pieces passionately.
Marvelous! This is a long and very intense work and you did very well. The registrations are excellent also. Great accoustics. Who built the organ? It sounds like a casavant to me but the console looks different.

What a performance! Amazing footwork! Why would anyone want to wear shoes to play the organ?!

This is a true testament to Albinas' dedication and passion for life (in spiritu) in the aftermath of Katrina.
