@chaosj2 heartbreaking... but that's how it was!!! I stood there (today in fact) with all the 8 instruments playing... awakening the Wind Fish.... thinking that.. maybe... just maybe... everyone's lifes will be spared in some way? But they all vanished.

Sad versions of this song are perfect for it. Because it tied into the sadness of the whole dream world coming to an end. All of what you did, all of who you met, they'd all be effectively dead. If only they were though! Then Link would at least be able to look forward to meeting them again in the next life! Instead they simply cease to exist... save for in his memory.

this song is truly sad, which is how i felt when i played it for the windfish. You play it knowing that those youve met will soon be gone, and you'll never see them again.
