The lovable and bumbling character of Hurley is hard not to love. Yet, this is not all there is to him and that is evident from the range of themes incorporated into his centric episodes. There is also a deeply conflicted part of his personality bred from his concern over his sanity, weight and appreciation from others. Giacchino has managed to master all these aspects masterfully to create a three dimensional human being on every level.

i love the songs that Hurly was listening too via his CD player.. does anyone recognize the song title the very first song played in episode (1) where Hurly is sitting on the beach.. where Walt finally is reunited with Vincent his lab dog.. Thanks... !!!

@millefeori From the episode 'Tabula Rasa', the track is called 'Wash Away (Reprise)' by Joe Purdy. One of my favourite songs too :)

Hurley... such a lovable and hilarious character. He was the perfect comic relief, and I love that he ended up as the new Jacob. The two people who disliked this can go "cluck" themselves.

Lost had many moments that made me cry, many moments I thought "I can't stand it any longer", but Hurley always cheered me up, made it all easier to bear.
