@ronniepander Hahaha... awww... Perry did very well though! Even though Matt hates his face.

@MCHomer9 Hehehe ya I know ;)

@hockeyknight Ya I guess you have a point on the East vs West... this year I was lucky Leafs were all on the same side! But I think they are just trying to spice things up cuz it's getting dull. It was entertaining last year. I hated when it was NA vs World... was hard to cheer against Sundin!

@silverkylerandom Ya, only thing ppl complain about is the game itself. How there's no hiting or any contact so ppl think it's pretty boring. It is in a way, but I still like to see them smile at eachother lol

@KingsFlyersHabs Ya that's fair. I think most ppl who like the ASG probly have the same views.

LOL! But Kessel got a car for being last!
Anyway, I like the fantasy draft, the rookie showdown is cool, and the skills competition is neat. But when it comes to the game its self I don't really care for it. It's a popularity contest, and it shows when Ovechkin, who was 43rd in the league in points when the original roster was announced, got it offhandedly over Elias, Neal, and Hartnell.

@RipperEagle96 Ya, haha just felt bad for the lil guy sitting by himself! Glad he got picked early this year... even though we got our faces booed out! I guess it was in all good fun.

While the All-Star game is a great way to showcase the best in the NHL, I also feel it's a complete waste of time. I mean, first of all the whole fan voting thing is totally biased and I understand that it gives freedom of choice for the people to select who they want to see. However, that said, when it's 4 or 5 guys from one team - case and point Chicago last year - it becomes a bit of a joke. I think if they changed how players are selected and were more fair to others I'd be ok with it.

@4rea85 Ya I know... again I think they are just trying to find a way to get ppl more interested in it. And it is clearly totally biased lol it's more of the hometown rink vs everyone else. But the skills comp is still great... and lately it seems that the "greats" are either injured before the ASG even starts!
