Fred J. Young Meets Warren Buffett at Beloit College in 1958

Mr. Young had the chance to visit many times with Warren Buffett early in his career. In addition to the encounter at Beloit College, Buffett did business with Harris Bank in Chicago, where Young worked. Buffett made several trips to Harris Bank and Young had the chance to talk with him then, too. Young is the author of the book How To Get Rich and Stay Rich. He married Grace Woodward, of Fort Scott, Kansas, which was the home office of The Western Insurance Companies. Buffett put 50% of his net worth in Western stock at one time. Wait a second. If this guy was in his 40's in 1958 (he says this at 10:22), then he has to be in his 90's now.
