ATLANTA -- U.S. Senator and Senate candidate Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today released a new television ad, entitled "Georgia Jobs," as part of his fall media campaign. The ad depicts Isakson discussing his priority of creating private sector jobs in Georgia. The ad will air in media markets across the state, including Albany, Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon and Savannah.
"When the tax bill from Washington is uncertain and the regulatory environment is unpredictable, businesses cannot plan their budgets or grow their businesses," said Isakson. "With high unemployment and thousands out of work, I understand that Georgians are hurting right now. I refuse to sit on the sidelines and allow President Obama and his administration to continue to push a job-killing agenda that is prolonging this recession. I will continue to work to create a pro-economic environment where Georgia's businesses can thrive."

JOHNNY ISAKSON:
"You know I learned a lot running a business for 22 years.
"I've had great opportunity in my life to work, to start a business, to employ people.
"I have a great opportunity now to serve the people of Georgia.
"You know when I went to Washington, I knew that job one for me was jobs in Georgia.
"What I've been fighting for every day is lower taxes, fair regulation, and an empowerment of opportunity for jobs in the private sector.
"America is a country of opportunity; I want to see it stays that way.
"I'm Johnny Isakson and I approve this message."
Isakson has built his campaign infrastructure and grassroots support by organizing in all 159 Georgia counties. It is the same strategy he used in 2004 when he won the election to the U.S. Senate with more votes than any candidate had ever received up to that point in the state of Georgia.
