A melancholic dark original with a couple flamenco tricks. The download of the album is free here... http://zombieswingers.bandcamp.com

The Language of Flowers
CJ Leon
Under the willow and by the stream,
we speak the language of flowers.
Our sighs pass on the minutes,
our silence on the hours.

And we bow our heads in mystery,
not knowing what we are.
And we fold our hands in misery,
afraid of what we are.

In a world that stands against you,
I'm one more of the same.
In world filled with faces,
I'm one who knows your name.

Leaves of grass are weaving a tapestry
of secrets between our toes;
and I say I will be a tulip
if you will be a rose.

When we stand and walk together,
each whispering a tune,
while the day of sun is shining,
the waning of the moon.

  • i doubt this is a genre of music many of you can follow. But maybe there's a few.

    If you truly like sad or depressive music, with a very fitting atmosphere.

    be sure to check Darkmoon Warrior - Ein pfad in die Schatten

    If you have taste, you will not regret it.

  • @Northernmight u've found the right audience, that's for sure.

  • i think i've told you before, but i must say it once more: you have the best lyrics of all time.

    yup. =]

  • go ahead, make my day.

    ;)

  • C.J.Original Is better !

  • =D it's the truth!

  • i didn't take it personally. typos or not. opinions change. somebody recently said my songs didn't have any rhythm and lacked hooky melodies. stunned as i was, i took no offence.

  • Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean your singing was bad, I meant "your singing isn't bad at all" sorry, terrible typo.

  • I hope so too!
