Hello all,
Yer So Bad, by Tom Petty, is an "ole faithful" song that I learned quite some time ago. I'm a huge Tom Petty fan and I wanted to tackle one of his tunes. Full Moon Fever will forever be one of my most favorite albums.......well, that and Wild Flowers.....
I also had a chance to use my 12-string Danelectro guitar. I am really impressed with this guitar, and I ran it through a Jangle Box compressor to get a little extra 12 string ring. (Not quite a Rickenbacker, but surprisingly not too far away either....)
Other instruments used were my Taylor 814CE acoustic and Fender Jazz Bass.
Recording was done with my Presonus Audiobox and mic'd using my AKG Perception 420. I am using Studio One Pro as my DAW.
Pardon the cheesy A-Ha, "Take On Me" special effects.....I was having a bit of fun. :)

Hi Wes - I got here via Twangy's FB post. Nice work - very clean and professional for a homebrew job. I have some "lite" recording software software that came with my Line 6 gear and am starting to fiddle with it. Hope my stuff turns out half as well as yours.

@MrMrjonesandme Thank you, MrJones. I have to warn you - it gets addictive. :) I had never played electric guitar or tried to record with anything other than a table top cassette player 13 months ago, and then I bought my first recording software. Now, I am hooked. Have fun!
