Puyo Puyo [Genesis] - Full run on Hardest Difficulty

Recorded especially for Iceray8 & BXXN (fdshmrfmmptherar) .

Clip of me playing Sega Genesis's "Puyo Puyo". Full gameplay with no losses/continues on HARDEST Difficulty. I skipped all the conversations since I didn't want this clip to get too long.

I love it when the replay made the puyos drop slower than it really was :0

To be honest I was actually skeptical whether I am able to make this feat (not to mention this is my 8th try or so...), which explains why I was saving states after every level past 5, just incase...

Still didn't manage a 6+ cascade (well, did a few before, but they eventually failed in later stages so I had to delete them )

Yesterday I tried to play it using your strategy. And I could do a 6x cascade! It sent 6 red puyos to the poor enemy. I still can't believe it. O_O

And I'll keep trying to do a flawless full run in Normal mode. I tried too, but got to level 9. :(

I just did an 8-cascade playing the genesis version of Puyo Puyo 2, too bad i failed on Schezo and i had to load the save state... but wil upload in couple days time

And I'll never forget of the 7th cascade the Bit... I mean, the Witch, had made me once. I was like O_O, then, :(, then, >:(, and then, :D (I won).

And frankly speaking, if you looked at the demonstration screen on the Japanese version, it showed some of the 2, 3 and 4 cascades shapes which is where I learnt it from. Once you have an idea what you're aiming for and adopt it to what drops you're given it's actually easy to do a 3+ cascade

Just when I thought that you weren't able to do it...

...you did it.

I won't ask you HOW THE HELL do you do to play THAT good. I know I'll never do a flawless gameplay of Puyo Puyo (or Dr. Robotnik's) in Hardest mode. Maybe I can try to do it in Normal. But, after watching such a great gameplay of yours, now I think I suck... :(

And my best cascade ever made by me was an unexpected one (of course), of 6 (only once, and when I was 8 or 9 years old). Today, a cascade of 5 is a HUGE achievement
