@treelizard99 That is the minimum altitude designated that you must have the runway insight or you have go missed approach(which means climb back up to altitude,try again or go to a different airport) they do this for safety reasons to prevent you from going too long down the runway or running into an obstacle.
Yeah the runway came into sight just as he hit minimums! im sure this was not his first rodeo at Shreveport...lol.

@youngestpilotinGa You have to have the runway environemnt in sight, be in normal position to land, and have minimum visibility to land.
