I saw the title and thought of throwing my iPhone into a fire.

If anyone, anywhere approached me and started bitching about my choice in gear I would have to put a boot up their ass and send them on their way.

This is the only review I have seen that says it does not charge well. I watched another guy charge his phone from one bar to five bars in 45 minutes.

The grill is also pretty effective for car camping and with the use of hickory or mesquite chips gives food a nice flavor!

The USB is powerful enough to run an led light strip, which could be used in place of a headlamp or lantern for nighttime cooking. I like the idea of this for long backpacking trips and car camping as the extra weight can be justified by not having to bring along extra fuel canisters and batteries. In my area it's 5$ a canister for butane/propane, where as wood is free.. this may justify the cost after a year or so of cooking with it

    what a bunch of crap.

get a firespout or a honey stove and a solar charger and stop putting all your eggs in a big heavy (expensive) basket.

If I catch you on the trail with one of these babies, you gets no mercy. For 130 dollars exactly, pick up a Solo Stove and an Eton Hand Crank / Solar Radio-USB Charger. You can cook a meal with a handful of twigs, charge your gadgets, and listen to the game and the weather updates instead of the sound of a hair dryer (which, btw, has no earthly business in the great outdoors), and you'll save over half a pound to boot.

Just go buy it. It's worth every penny. There's a million reviews on it already between YT and Amazon.
