12/09/08 diving at palancar horseshoe. Dropped in almost on top of this hammerhead shark and swam with us for 10 minutes. Hammerhead swam around "martin" memorial.

We were in Roatan on a dive and a hammerhead come up behind our divemaster and scared the hell out of him.. never got closer than 20 feet from us, but it was about 5 feet behind and 5 feet above him, haha...they are awesome to see in person!

i've doved more than 1000 hours in cozumel and never seen a hammerhead......

I was there at the Martin memorial just two weeks ago, and no hammerhead on this trip! Plenty of seaturtles though! I'm putting together another Cozumel video soon!

Very cool. I'd heard that there was a hammerhead on Palancar. Alas, I missed it in November
