@weipax Nearly everyone slurs that word around especially when it comes to Extreme Music. People outside of the Extreme Metal community view it as Misanthropy, and Satanic. Inside the Metal community, there's Misanthropy or Paganism for dark humor, there are limited bands who actually practice LaVeyan Satanism or some type of obscure Ancient Babylonian occult, but that's literally a hand full of Black Metal bands.

Journalists who report on Extreme Metal are purely fallacious is my main point.
