Peace in My Heart

I wrote this song many years ago. I was about 11 or 12. It was a rough time in my life, yet inside of me, I had this peace. Even though the song is simple, it catches the feel of my outlook on life.

The pictures are photos I took of the woods and places around my house. The forest is another place I associate with peace for various reasons. The quotes are simply some of my favorite sayings.

As a disclaimer, I think I should say, I'm not a pianist (or even a musician), so I apologize for breaking any 'rules.' I also realize that the acoustics are not that great. It was the best I could get in the small room with a not-so-great of a piano.
