I'm sure that if Mozart heard this, he'd be happy that a band is using it centuries later. I'd be pretty happy, too, if I was Mozart.

Mozart was not the first person to write a "Lacrymosa." Lacrymosa is a piece that is a traditional part of a Catholic mass of honoring the death of a person. The traditional lyrics, translated to english are "A day of tears is that dread day, on which shall rise from ashen dust to judgement true each guilty man. Then spare this soul, O God, we pray, O loving Saviour, Jesus Lord, grant Thou to them Thy rest. Amen."

I wonder how mozart would react, voices like hers was not back in his century, all there was back then was Opera, this is true potential in a voice. He would think angels are using his masterpiece.

@AL3KZTV The post above is review of A Chorus Line from Oct 1, 1983 by Frank Rich of The New York Times. It was this article which was the inspiration for naming the band EVANESCENCE, inspiration for me to write the song LIKE A VIRGIN for Madonna and also NEW SENSATION for INXS (which I ran out of room above to add). Further in the review it mentions the choreographer Michael Bennett, where Michael Hutchence decided to name a friend to play his 1st public girlfriend Michelle Bennett.
